Interfaith Sanctuary

Interfaith Sanctuary Housing Services provides overnight shelter and supportive services for men, women, and families with children. We open at 6:00 pm every night and close at 7:00 am (Sundays - 8:00 am). Individuals seeking shelter can arrive at 6:00 pm. No pre-registration or referrals are necessary.

The shelter is located at 1620 W. River Street (just past the skatepark on 16th before the River Street light. Entrance is on Cooper Court behind Corpus Christi Day Shelter. Click on the map below for directions.)

Interfaith Sanctuary Housing Services is a collaboration of people of faith and people of conscience who have joined together to shelter and serve individuals experiencing homelessness. Sanctuary shelters 155+ men, women, and children each night and provides supportive services that promote greater self-sufficiency, improved well-being, and permanent housing acquisition. We recognize the dignity of each person and therefore offer our services in an accepting and respectful manner.
